Ali and Tom first met in February 2019 through a mutual friend, Natalie. Ali and Natalie have been friends since high school, and Tom worked with Natalie at a tech company in Santa Clara. It started with a text, then a first date at Miniboss, an arcade bar where Ali worked night shifts.🍸🕹️🎮 They hit it off and soon Ali and her cat, Scout, moved in with Tom and his friends, despite Tom being “allergic” to cats! 😺

How We Met

Tom proposed to Ali on October 3, 2020. It was a casual day hanging out with Ali’s co-workers in San Mateo for a picnic, then meeting Tom’s best friend (Paul) and his wife (Camille) in Half Moon Bay. Ali didn’t suspect a thing. As they walked along the beach closer to the shore, Tom popped the question! With cameras in hand, Paul and Camille filmed the proposal and captured beautiful photos!☀️🌊💍
