Tyler told Alison that they were going to have dinner with his sister, Juliane, and her now fiancé, Trevor. Tyler is notorious for getting lost while driving. So when they were already running late and Tyler kept making wrong turns, Alison got a little frustrated. That is until he pulled into the parking lot of what used to be their elementary school. There in front of the school where they used to open car doors in the morning for Safety Patrol, was the most beautiful set up.

Hundreds of lights and dozens of pictures surrounded a wooden picnic table in the middle of a patch of trees and "My Whole Life Long" by their favorite band, Delta Rae, was playing quietly in the background. On the picnic table were champagne, cheese, tons of letters to and from both of them throughout their relationship, and a small red box. As they walked up to the table Tyler picked up the box and said, "I had a really great speech prepared but I can't remember any of it. All I know is that I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" Of course she said yes! They popped the champagne and Tyler said, "I have one more thing to show you." He then pulled out his laptop, and opened a surprise video from Delta Rae congratulating them on getting engaged.

They had dinner at 131 Main and went home to find their living room covered in candles and in the center there was a cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberries, flowers, and more champagne. It doesn't get any better than this.
