As everyone knows, Michael & Alison have been together “forever” already. They met in 1997, Spanish 1, Senora O'Neil's class, both freshman at Enfield High School (go Raiders!). There were lots of winks & smiles exchanged, even back then. The first dance they shared was at an EHS dance to Aerosmith’s “Angel” (pretty sure Casey snapped a pic and Alison held onto that little treasure for years).

Life happened & sent them into different directions. Michael learned lots of different trades, went onto college & had some life experiences. Alison too had started living adult life, working various jobs, college and most importantly becoming a mother to her amazing two boys, Curtis & Kyrin.

Life then put them on the right course. It had been several years since they had last exchanged glances. As divine intervention took over, in the same two weeks of fall 2008 they bumped into each other THREE TIMES, first at the local watering hole, next at the same stop light, and lastly at Stop & Shop before they took the hint. Michael chased Alison out to her car & asked for her phone number. It's obvious now that it wasn't coincidence. It was FATE.

Quickly the two became inseparable. Over the years their favorite dates had been the boys games including football, soccer, basketball, baseball... and when Kyrin allows, lacrosse. So many seasons. Their first date alone was actually 6 months into the relationship at a driving range. Along with sports, Michael & Alison have found a love for adventure. Traveling has become the family favorite and trips to Florida, Arizona, Vegas, Delaware, California, Six Flags NJ/NY, beach trips and other various adventures will always be fond, favorite memories. There are so many more adventures in the horizon.

Alison is already an unofficial member of Michael's family and Michael has become a true part of Alison’s family. It’s time to make it official! #MatthewsiDOs2022
