Alison and Max met in Charleston South Carolina. Initially, it was just another unpursued Hinge match, but the bigger plan would eventually unfold. One day at Salt Water Cowboys, Alison noticed Max staring at her while she was patiently waiting to get inside. Max recognized her in an instant and promptly greeted her when she got in. Alison was waiting for friends, so the clear and obvious choice was for Max to invite her to hang with his friends until her friends arrived. After that, the two continued to keep in touch and decided to finally have that first date that never came to fruition. The two had a first date at Folly Beach involving sunshine, waves, and surfing. After the surfing session ended, they noticed an injured young woman who came up and asked if they could keep her company until she felt well enough to drive home. So, the answer was that they would take the boards and drive this woman to the ER. They spent 4 hours at the ER with their new friend until they were eventually relieved of their post. After this home run of a first date, they decided to keep in touch while Max moved to Nashville for the next two and a half years. They spent their time filled with facetime dates and movie nights and always made a point to see each other when Max came back home to visit. They officially began dating after a year of long distance in June of 2022. They kept their facetime dates and movie nights as a staple for times when they missed each other most. Max proposed at Shark Tooth Beach in Beaufort South Carolina in May 2023. They will be wed in front of their loving family and friends who all have helped and supported them along the way.
