<p>Chris&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;the&nbsp;way&nbsp;many&nbsp;couples&nbsp;meet&nbsp;today.&nbsp;We&nbsp;met&nbsp;on&nbsp;facebook.&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;posted&nbsp;it&nbsp;something&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;group,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Chris&nbsp;saw&nbsp;it&nbsp;and&nbsp;commented&nbsp;not&nbsp;long&nbsp;after,&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;checking&nbsp;out&nbsp;my&nbsp;profile&nbsp;and&nbsp;sent&nbsp;me&nbsp;a&nbsp;message.&nbsp;Very&nbsp;shortly&nbsp;after&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;we&nbsp;began&nbsp;talking&nbsp;in&nbsp;October&nbsp;2023.&nbsp;He&nbsp;called&nbsp;me&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;phone.&nbsp;That&nbsp;call&nbsp;led&nbsp;to&nbsp;more&nbsp;phone&nbsp;calls.&nbsp;We&nbsp;spent&nbsp;hours&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;phone&nbsp;together.&nbsp;By&nbsp;the&nbsp;time&nbsp;we&nbsp;met&nbsp;face&nbsp;to&nbsp;face&nbsp;in&nbsp;May&nbsp;2024,&nbsp;I&nbsp;knew&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;already&nbsp;in&nbsp;love.<br>I&nbsp;cannot&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;#HappilyEckertAfter</p>

One of the many places we visited on our first date!

Tennessee State Museum 

After visiting the museum on our first date we walked around this park.
This beautiful park is right next to the Tennessee State Museum and boasts a beautiful view of the Nashville skyline featuring the beautiful State Capitol building 

Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park

Another place we visited on our first date this park offers a full scale replica of the Parthenon, walking paths a peaceful lake and beautiful gardens. Plus parking is free.

We spent 4 hours here on the last day of my first visit to Nashville walking up to the plantation is an impressive sight. The gardens are beautiful, and the grounds are as well! There is so much history to be learned here. You might also spot a few horses that are said to be the descendants of Andrew Jackson's own horses.

Well worth the stop. You could spend hours here soaking up country music's history and searching for olyour favorite musicians in the hall of fame

This was a second date activity! Cheekwood Offers a beautiful garden a historic mansion turned miseummand art exhibits.

The Angel Wings are just one of many art murals in The Gulch to come and take your picture in front of.. Just search The Gulch Murals in your phone's GPS to find the others and take your picture with as many as you can!

Come enjoy Nashville's famous hot Chicken. Princes is the first restaurant to offer this quintessential Nashville dish. Be careful how you order when they say hot they mean it.

If you'd rather not want to fight the crowds on Broadway. Hattie Bs is another location for this Nashville  treat. Just be careful how you order  when they say hot they mean hot.

This is one of our favorite places to be in Nashville. The menu boasts delicious  Irish Food, and of course, they serve one of Ireland's best exports, Guinness beer. Our favorite thing is to go on a night the owner is playing music from the Green Isle, and yes, a request or two from the audience!

McNamara's Irish Pub

If your taste buds are searching for German food. In our opinion, the Bierhaus is a delicious place to try. When Chris and I dined here they had live music as well. And as a bonus, the Opry Mills mall is accessible from the Bierhaus if you feel the need to take a walk and window shop.

Bavarian Bierhaus

In the mood to shop? Want to stretch your legs while you window shop? This mall has many entrances but as I said is accessible from The Bavarian Bierhaus. The mall is large but boasts a huge Bass Pro Outdoor World as well as a Boot Barn if you're looking to bring home a new hat or pair of boots!

Opry Mills Mall

Who doesn't love some good country-style food while you shop for a Christmas ornament in the middle of springtime? There are several locations in the Nashville area trees bound to be one near your hotel.
