Cameron and Alison’s story does not veer far from the little town of Snelling, CA. Cameron grew up in Snelling/ La Grange and Alison grew up in Winton/ outskirts of Merced (about 5 miles from Snelling). As the two grew up they lived nearby each other, went to same elementary school for a few years (and even in the same yearbook!), both showed animals at the Merced County Fair, both boated on Lake Don Pedro and traveled up and down the same country roads. Although close by, their paths never crossed and they never met each other as youngsters. Cameron eventually went to UC Merced, moved to the Bay Area to work in finance, and then moved back home to the ranch. Alison moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly and moved back home to start her career at Hilmar Cheese Company. Alison moved back the summer of 2018 and Cameron had already been living back on the ranch for two years. On December 26th, 2018 they both went to the local bar in Snelling, Bud’s Place, to celebrate a special friend’s birthday. They talked, exchanged numbers and both got really excited there was another single person in Snelling that they didn’t know about. About a month later, Cameron asked Alison out on a date and they have been inseparable ever since!

They now love hanging out in the place they met 😉, spending time on backroads, talking about their big ideas, lighting bonfires, spending time with their amazing families, and being engaged!
