Alison and Oliver met in May 2013 while Oliver was visiting his friends at UNH for Cinco De Mayo weekend. They bonded over sombreros, pizza, and the movie Miracle. Soon after, they started dating and the rest is history.

Alison wanted to do laundry. Oliver suggested going out for dinner instead. Per usual, they went out to the North End for wine & pasta. They enjoyed a meal overlooking Hanover St, then their friend Kate asked them to meet them out for a drink. With full bellies, they reluctantly agreed. They took the scenic route through Christopher Columbus Park, where a bottle of champagne and 2 solo cups were there waiting for them underneath the lit up arch where Oliver popped the question.
