We worked together at Dick’s Sporting Goods and did a little juvenile flirting for about eight months. We were in different relationships at the time, so we never acted on any temptations we may have felt. Fast forward to 2018 - Shae got a puppy (Lulu) and it sparked Alissa’s interest (she’s a serious animal lover). Alissa decided to make the first move & let Shae know she had a crush on him when they worked together years ago. Shae replied that he felt the same - It has been over for us ever since! We have talked everyday from sun up to sun down for over five years. The beginning of our relationship was a little tough, as we spent the first six months traveling between Houston and Denton to spend time together. Shae was finishing up his degree at the School of Automotive Machinists & Technology in Houston; while Alissa was perusing her Bachelors degree in Denton. After Shae graduated, he accepted a job offer in DFW to be closer to Alissa (and his Momma). We moved in together immediately!
