Our Wedding

Our story begins April of 2020 – shout out to Hinge! As a result of meeting during the pandemic, we were unable to go on regular dates for the first eight months of our relationship. We decided to go to Hawaii for four weeks in January (which turned into six weeks lol). Most of you know (1) we are not fans of winter and (2) we love to travel so this was a great escape! This trip will forever hold a special place in our hearts. One of our favorite things to do is travel 😊 Alissa had always wanted to go to Acadia National Park so we booked a trip for July 2022. During a nice walk around Jordan Pond, Mike proposed on a cobblestone path next to the pond and it was absolutely perfect. We had five months until our next adventure, which was moving across the country to Pismo Beach, California. This was by far one of our best, yet hardest decisions we've made as a couple. We love the new life we have built, but miss being so close to family and friends. FaceTime and staying in contact with everyone helps a lot!
