Adam and Alissa, come to find out, met as kids at the little campground called Twin Oaks in Middleburgh, NY. Thanks to Matt McCauslin and Jared Wengenack, that was the first time they met. Years later - after high school, after college - the internet brought them back together. Their first date was at Thatcher Park. Alissa brought her fur babies, Gemma and Rufus, and the adventure begins! Within the first 10 minutes, Alissa is picking up dog poop, walking around with the warm baggie, tripping over exposed roots. Surprisingly, Adam - cool as a cucumber - was the first to fall. He slipped down a hill, brought Rufus with him, and got covered in mud. Rufus has his eye on Adam even to this day. Romance. If that doesn't make your heart sing... I don't know what would. So many laughs, so many memories were made that day in true Alissa and Adam fashion. Alissa asked Adam out first, something romantic along the lines of "Are you gonna ask me to be your girlfriend or what?" Then boom, they were boyfriend and girlfriend. The next day, Adam took Alissa to shafer park to break up just so he could ask her out again in the traditional way - in front of the headlights of his truck, dancing to their favorite love song. Then, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Six years of dating, a house, three kitties; They have created a little homestead of love and laughter.

This is where the shuttle will pick you up/drop you off. Unfortunately, our allotted number of rooms in our block have been filled at this time. Rooms in the hotel are still available where you can book directly with them online or by calling. Next closest hotel is best western, walking distance the Marriott to catch the shuttle.

We do not have a room block booked here, but it is another closeby hotel if interested. No shuttle is provided from this location. It is an easy 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the Courtyard Mariott to utilize the shuttle service we are providing.
