Alix and Chase matched on the mutual dating app on February 16, 2024. Chase sent the first message, and from there, they didn't stop texting till the following Monday, when they had their first date at Nickel City. The date was meant to be two hours long, but it quickly turned into eight and a half. It was an instant and powerful connection.

Alix moved to Los Angeles that Wednesday. They kept in touch, facetiming and texting regularly. They began having virtual dates where they played lots of Baldur's Gate 3 together and watched Demon Slayer.

Only two weeks into living in California, Alix felt a powerful prompting That she needed to go home and see Chase. She asked her parents if she could fly home for the coming weekend. It was a crazy ask. The spirit spoke to her parents too, and they agreed.

She flew home and on March 8th (the day the renowned Kung Fu Panda 4 movie came out), Chase asked Alix to become his girlfriend. With regular visits each month and eventually a move back to Utah, they have been going strong ever since and are now taking their next eternal step.
