Aliyah and Chester officially met in July 2021, but little did they know, they had crossed paths many times in previous years. Both of them attended East Carolina University at the same time. and never met. Both of them also worked at the same Old Navy, and never met. Yet, they are about to spend the rest of their lives with each other. A mutual friend (Taryn Sutton), took both Chester and Aliyah's graduation photos. Taryn soon after posted Aliyah's graduation photos and Chester thought she was pretty. Chester then reached out on Social Media to get to know more about Aliyah. After learning Aliyah was preparing for the BAR, Chester promised to take her out after completing the exam. Aliyah finally completed her studies and then Chester began planning their first date. Aliyah suggested that it would be a great idea to have a fun PowerPoint presentation date to see who could make the best argument. Aliyah chose the topic "Stevie Wonder is not Blind", while Chester chose "Why you should date me". As we can "see" Chester won the argument. That was just the beginning of what would be a relationship full of laughter and love. From then on the couple has traveled the world, experienced countless wonders and continue to deeply love each other. Chester's favorite adventure was a boat ride on the Seine River eating Foie Gras while looking at the Eiffel Tower (Yet she was the most beautiful thing in sight). Aliyah's most memorable moment was standing on a glass floor 1,353 feet above Chicago in the Willis Tower. After sharing countless trips, adventures and priceless moments together, Chester realized he never wanted to spend another moment without her. As a result, on August 24th, 2023 Chester lined their entryway of the house with a plethora of balloons with photos of their memories attached to each. At the end of the entryway, Chester stood waiting to ask Aliyah to spend the rest of her life with him. Aliyah's response has resulted in you reading this message.
