Here are some helpful tips for those of you traveling from abroad:


•London Heathrow Airport (LHR) is usually the best airport to fly into. There may be cheaper flights into other London airports, so it’s worth looking into various options, but it’s easiest to get to Chippenham from Heathrow.


•There is a coach (bus) you can take directly from Heathrow to Chippenham. Here’s the link:

If you are coming from the US or Canada you will need to get an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) to enter the country. This is a new regulation starting Jan 2025. You can apply online, there is a fee of about 13 USD (19 CAD), and you will get a decision in 3 days. Below is the link for where to apply.

If you would like to rent a car while visiting, there is an Enterprise car rental service in Chippenham where you can reserve a vehicle. Just remember to drive on the wrong side of the road, not the right :) And be aware most cars are manual transmission, so choose automatic specifically if you need that.
