Q + A

WHEN DO I HAVE TO RSVP BY?

The RSVP booking deadline has now passed, and we’ve officially closed the list. As of December 31st, if your payment and room booking were not completed by that date, we’ll need to mark you as “unable to attend,” as we’re required to submit a final headcount to our wedding planner by that time.

How do I change the dates of the room block/book another room?

To adjust your room blocks/dates please email: br119@libertytravel.com

Will I need a Passport?

Yes! Make sure you have a valid passport and that it expires AFTER November 2025. The 6-month passport rule states your passport must be valid for another six months before departing for your international travel.

For passport information you can visit:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html

If you need to apply for or renew your U.S. passport for international travel, please read the Department of State's current international travel advisory.

Please keep in mind passports take 6-12 weeks to process.

WHERE/WHEN ARE THE WEDDING EVENTS TAKING PLACE?

All our events will be taking place on the Dreams Macao Resort in Punta Cana.

Our ceremony will be held on the Himitsu Garden Terrace starting promptly at 4:00pm. We ask that our guests please arrive at the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes before.

Following the ceremony cocktail hour will also be in the Himitsu Garden before heading to the reception.

The reception will take place on the Seaside Sky Terrace from 6:00pm – 10:00pm where there will be food, dancing & an open bar!

Following the reception the resort offers a sports bar/night club called Desires that is open until 2:00am where we would love our guests to join us to continue the celebration!

What is the dress code?

Cocktail/ Dressy Casual:

It's important to us that you are comfortable! The dress code is cocktail/dressy casual (please avoid jeans or denim). For this time of year in Punta Cana, may we suggest the following attire:

Women: Cocktail dresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn.

Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional.

Please avoid the color white unless it is a white shirt for men. We encourage our guests to wear color :)

For outfit examples please see the 'outfit inspiration' tab .

Are children allowed?

While we love your kiddos due to the limited space we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception adults only with an exception to our ring bearers.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those listed on the formal invitation. All invitees will be addressed on the envelope your invitation arrived in. We kindly ask that it be just the addressed guests on the invite.

Gifts

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, since we are all going to be traveling a contribution towards our future together would be sincerely appreciated (Please see registry tab)

Can I drink the water at the resort?

For your safety, we recommend not drinking the tap water at the resort, especially since it’s a foreign country. It’s best to stick with bottled water, which is widely available. If you have any questions about dining or staying hydrated during your trip, feel free to ask!
