Our Wedding

It was fate for us to be together! We met during a work conference in Boston in 2019 where we were both one of 80 individuals from across the Air Force selected to attend. Scott was an Active Duty Lieutenant, stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana at the time, and Allie was a civilian at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The conference was divided into 8 teams, at which point Scott and Allie were on separate teams for 30 minutes when the conference director announced someone was on the wrong team after noticing the numbers were off. As embarrassing as that would be for someone, Allie quickly realized her team number didn’t match those around her at her table. As she found her correct team, which happened to be Scott’s team, Scott saw this beautiful girl walking frantically with all her equipment in her arms, noticed there was a seat open right across from him, offered it to Allie, and introduced himself. Our connection was instant and continued to build as we competed against each other on menial tasks - not that either of us are competitive - and Scott schmoozed Allie in the best way possible - feeding Allie her favorite snack, red Sour Patch Kids. By the end of the week, we were in a relationship and our lives together began.&nbsp; The destiny of our relationship continued as Scott was scheduled to move to Hanscom Air Force Base after he arrived home from a 6-month deployment to the Middle East, which quickly turned to almost 9 months thanks to COVID! After nearly a year of loving each other across the world, we were both tremendously excited to finally be in the same place to continue building our lives together, settling down, and starting our family. We eagerly counted down the days and combated the heartache of uncertainty for Scott to finally return home in June 2020. Allie met him out in Montana to begin the trip across the country to bring Scott to his new home on the East Coast, arriving mid-July.&nbsp; Since then, Scott and Allie have bought their first home, found the first fur-child, and the two of us built our relationship to be stronger and stronger. This led to Scott surprising Allie during his promotion to Captain in March 2021 when he got down on one knee and proposed.&nbsp;

We will be providing transportation from the Three Seasons Resort to the Reception at the Wychmere Beach Club. The bus will arrive at 5:35pm and will be departing at 5:50pm. It will be first come first serve.
