Katie Cook
Katie Cook - Matron of Honor
Katie is Allie's sister, and though their childhood was filled with classic sibling rivalry, the two have grown incredibly close over the years. From long days on the softball field, sometimes even as teammates, to countless shared memories, their bond has only strengthened with time. Katie, now in her first year as an elementary school teacher, is passionate, dedicated, and brings her signature energy into everything she does. As a pitcher, Katie used to drag Allie to her bullpen sessions, a commitment that Allie proudly claims helped fuel Katie's dominance on the mound (you're welcome, Katie!). In 2023, Allie got to stand next to Katie as her maid of honor as she married her high school sweetheart, Dony. Fun fact: their reception was also held at the Pavilion! Allie is thrilled to have her sister by her side on her special day, returning the favor for a lifelong teammate, both on and off the field.
Haley Janacaro
Haley Janacaro - Bridesmaid
Haley is Allie's cousin, and the two have always shared a special bond that's only grown stronger over the years. With Allie now working at Missouri Western, where Haley is a student, they've had even more chances to spend time together. It's not uncommon for Haley to pop into Allie's office during lunch breaks for a quick chat (and to help the day go by a little faster). Whether they're enjoying a MWSU sporting event, shopping, grabbing Chipotle, or just catching up, Haley and Allie's time together is always filled with laughter and love. Allie couldn't be more excited to have her cousin, and close friend, standing by her side on such an important day!
Kayla Vernon
Kayla Vernon - Bridesmaid
Kayla is one of Allie's best friends. She's more like a sister than anything else. The two first met back in elementary school and have been inseparable ever since, growing up side by side through high school and beyond. Their friendship was strengthened on the softball field, where they played together for teams like the SABC Angels and the Raytown High School Bluejays, and occasionally faced off as opponents. No matter the jersey, their bond remained unshakable. With 23 years of friendship comes so many fun, wild, and unforgettable stories between them. Far too many to unpack here. Allie couldn't be more excited to have her lifelong friend and "sister" standing beside her as she marries the love of her life.
Bailey Warnock
Bailey Warnock - Bridesmaid
Bailey is one of Allie's longest and dearest friends. Her very first friend, in fact. Their friendship began all the way back in kindergarten, when Bailey pointed at Allie on the first day of school and shouted, "I know that girl!" From that moment on, they were inseparable. They even shared the softball field together for a brief time as kids. While Allie leaned into softball and Bailey found her passion in dance, they always supported each other. On occasion, Allie would attend Bailey's dance events and Bailey would support Allie at some games. Bailey has been by Allie's side through every stage of life, including her own wedding to her husband, Andy Warnock, an incredibly special day that Allie was honored to be part of. Their bond has only grown stronger with time, and Allie is beyond grateful to have her first, and forever, friend standing beside her on one of the most important days of her life.
Susan Buchanan
Susan Buchanan - Bridesmaid
Suz and Allie met in college through their shared time on the Westminster College Softball team, and from there, a friendship was born that has truly stood the test of time, and chaos. Not only did they play side by side on the field, but they also shared many of the same classes, lived together, and somehow survived the wild ride that was Allie's senior year (thank you Suz). From late night study sessions to one of a kind moments in Dogwood A, their years together were full of laughter, curveballs, and stories that can't, possibly shouldn't, be retold. Suz, if you're reading this: Gold bless you. Now from roommates to bridesmaid, Suz continues to be one of Allie's closest and most loyal friends. Allie couldn't be more excited to have her by her side- and yes, Suz has already put in a request for their college anthem, Dixieland Delight, to be played at the reception (go Bluejays).
Paul Rezac
Paul Rezac - Best man
Paul is the groom's brother. From Valparaiso, Nebraska, Paul lives on the family farm that he and Tommy grew up on, and runs the family business called Rezac Seed. Paul has been married for seven years to his wife, Skye. Together, they have three beautiful girls - Rose (5), June (2) and Laura (1). Tommy was Paul's best man at his wedding in 2018, and roasted the s**t out of him for a solid seven minutes in his speech, and had the entire room in stitches. Tommy and Paul have had their share of fights over the years as brothers, but have lived to put up with each other as adults for the most part.
Mikey Cook
Mikey Cook - Groomsmen
Mikey is the brother of the bride, and is currently a student-athlete at Mid-America Nazarene in Olathe, KS, where he plays baseball. Tommy and Mikey got to know each other well over the last few years, as Tommy attended more and more Cook family functions. Mikey and Tommy love discussing things like college football, music, funny Instagram reels and teasing Allie.
Matt Reynoldson
Matt Reynoldson - Groomsmen
Matt and Tommy have been friends for more than 10 years, dating back to their time as broadcast majors at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Once roommates, Tommy and Matt have remained close as they both pursue their respective broadcast careers and navigate adult life. Matt, originally from Lincoln, owns many embarrassing photos of Tommy on his phone's camera roll, and loves golfing, the Huskers and pushing to Tommy to relax and have a good time.
Nick Gebhart
Nick Gebhart - Groomsmen
Nick (call him Woodhouse) lived on Tommy's floor at Sandoz Hall at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the fall of 2013. They also had a butt ton of classes together, and have remained close friends since. Woodhouse, from Omaha, loved watching The Office and Family Guy with Tommy in college, and definitely caught Tommy's attention with his heckling skills at a Nebraska vs. Creighton baseball game in 2014. Woodhouse is perhaps the most passionate Husker and Green Bay Packers fan that Tommy has ever come across, but has also remained a loyal and upbeat friend over all these years.
Joey Hoile
Joey Hoile - Groomsmen
Joey was Tommy's next door neighbor at Sandoz Hall when they were both freshmen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the fall of 2013, and continually crossed paths on campus and each decided that the other was pretty alright. In fact, they co-hosted a morning radio show for a couple years together called "Tom and Joe in the Morning." Tommy and Joey have remained close friends as they have both navigated several big life moves and decisions. Tommy was also a groomsman for Joey when he and his wife Abbey got married in Minneapolis in October 2023.
