Many of you may already know, but we met on a dating site. Plenty of Fish, to be exact. Hence, the hashtag #findingdoran - you know, we found each other on POF & Finding Dory/Nemo... get it? :) (hashtag generated by bridesmaid, Lauren Haines - wedding hashtag aficionado)

When we tell people we met on a dating website, a good laugh usually follows. They always assume we met through work (before Allie was a food blogger working at her dad's construction firm), some sort of athletic event, at a food festival or bar, some whacky cowboy boot expo... nope. A cheesy dating site that usually attracts people with some downright questionable reasons for signing up. Call it fate, destiny, His great plan...but we sure are grateful Allie's mom decided to put her dating life on the world wide web. 

When we met, we wouldn't necessarily say we each knew we had found THE ONE at first sight, but after that first date, we were inseparable. 

It wasn't long after we started&nbsp;dating that we started talking about the future. With our mutual love for ALL things food, crazy dance moves, hiking, anything that involves the outdoors, country music; there was never a shortage of things to do together. Allie moved to Schuylkill County, PA in January of 2016, about 9 months after we met, to put an end to all of that long distance nonsense. 

It was no secret that we were planning on getting married, we probably started talking about it 2 months into our relationship. In March, Jared and his brother, JV, *sneakily* took a road trip to a "last minute fishing expo" (*cough, cough* - to look at some bling for Allie and JV's now fiance, Steph). Fortunately for Steph and Allie, the Doran men don't exactly excel at all aspects of secret keeping, and Allie had a hunch Jared asked her dad, Paul, and brother, Matt, for permission to marry her the day after Jared and JV suspiciously had a fishing expo to attend. She was right. 

However, on June 3rd 2016, the day started TOTALLY normally. Jared was cool as a cucumber, packing his usual survival pack (affectionately referred to as the "dad pack" by all of our friends) for a full day outdoors. We had plans to hike Hawk Mountain, which Jared was oddly specific about, but still, hiking was not out of the ordinary. Allie was a little miffed when Jared didn't want to do the extreme boulder course with her, wondering why he was so dead set on going to the North Lookout Point. Turns out, he had a pretty important question to ask. At the top of the mountain, Jared asked Allie to marry him...the answer (and the reason this website / wedding exists) SHE SAID YES! We're counting down the days until April 14th!!!

The Hotel Hershey

There will be&nbsp; complimentary&nbsp;shuttle services provided for any&nbsp;guests staying at one of our selected hotels listed above. The shuttles will provide transportation from the hotels to the ceremony and from the ceremony back to the hotels.&nbsp;

The shuttles will again leave from each hotel to the reception venue and transport any and all guests back to their hotels at the end of the evening.&nbsp;



Shuttles will pick guests up at 2:15 pm for ceremony transportation and again at 5:15 pm for reception transportation. The shuttle at the Hotel Hershey will pick up in the bus lane adjacent to the hotel entrance. Shuttles arriving at all other hotels will arrive&nbsp;in the respective parking lots.&nbsp;
