At the University of Maryland, Mason and Allie had been in the same friend group for the first three years. During their last semester, Mason texted Allie for the name of her MCAT tutor. The two have talked everyday since. After a few months, they both realized that they had something special and began officially dating! The couple then spent their favorite year together, their gap year between UMD and med school, traveling to Greece, spending weekends together in Jersey City or Naples, FL and the summer down at their shore house in Manasquan. They then took on the challenge of medical school together, while doing long distance, Allie at Temple and Mason at Rutgers. After 4 years of hard work and making long distance work, the couple finally found a home together in Bordentown, NJ. After a long awaited proposal, Mason popped the question on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, DE with both of their families.
