Allie and Jacob’s story began in Nashville, Tennessee at their favorite little bar Loser’s in Music Row on New Year's Eve 2020. Jacob spotted Allie standing with a group of girls at the corner of the bar and she caught his attention. With a little liquid courage, he decided to introduce himself. There was an instant spark. After cocktails and singing along to their favorite country songs, they closed out 2020 with a New Years kiss.

Allie returned home to LA shortly after New Year's Day, and it wasn't until her return back to Nashville that Jacob had the chance to ask her out. Remembering the spark from New Year's Eve, he couldn't shake the feeling. Over the next few days, they got to know each other through texting.

Once Allie was back in Nashville, the two started spending a lot more time together, whether it was meeting out for drinks ,trying new restaurants in Germantown or having a movie night.

Skipping forward a few weeks, Jacob's mom visited Nashville. They both had a blast exploring Jacob's beloved city. One evening, Jacob took his mom to Zanies, his favorite comedy club, conveniently located near Allie's apartment. Nervous but determined, Jacob texted Allie and asked if they could drop by for a drink. The evening was memorable, especially for Jacob seeing his mom and Allie hit it off so well.

The morning after, Jacob's mom had a ton of questions about Allie. “Are you going to introduce her to the whole family?” “ Do you think she's the one?” “ Does she want kids?”. He could tell his mom loved Allie, and that was all he needed to hear.

As Allie and Jacob spent more time together, their feelings grew stronger. Then, the Covid pandemic escalated, bringing uncertainty and fear worldwide. Nashville was on lockdown, but Allie and Jacob managed to keep their circle tight, spending time only with each other and their roommates.

Jacob was unaware at first, but fell ill with the virus and eventually tested positive. Allie and Jacob found themselves in lockdown together, coinciding with one of the worst winter storms Nashville had seen in over 20 years. Through runny noses, fatigue, and snow-covered streets (+ sledding on a baking sheet), they spent over a week straight together, growing even closer. From that initial New Year's kiss to being confined in a 700 sqft apartment, Jacob realized they were destined to love each other forever.

Fast forward, Allie graduates from nursing school in December 2021 and her family flies to Nashville to celebrate while also getting to meet Jacob for the first time.

Allie then gets her first job as a pediatric oncology nurse in Nashville while Jacob continues his position with Bolthouse Farms.

Eventually, Jacob gets an amazing opportunity to work for his family company Inn Foods and moves back to his hometown Aromas to pursue agricultural sales. He buys his first home in Aromas in 2022.

The two manage a long distance relationship while pursuing their professional dreams individually until Allie lands a dream job at Stanford working as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse in April 2023.

Allie and Jacob begin to build a home together in Jacob’s hometown. In August 2023 the two took a trip with Jacob’s family to Kauai. They get engaged while on a hike to Waipo’o Falls waterfalls.

They are so excited to continue their journey in love together with the support of family, friends, and loved ones… and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
