Allie and Alex’s story started in early 2018 after being introduced by mutual friends. Allie and Alex are unsure when they first met — Alex’s first memory of Allie was at her 23rd birthday party in January, while Allie’s first memory of Alex wasn’t until April when they celebrated a friend’s graduation.

After months of being “just friends”, Allie was ready to take the next step. Allie asked Alex to be her date for her best friend’s wedding on September 7, 2018. What Allie didn’t tell Alex was that she was the maid of honor and he would have to spend most of the evening with her mom and sister. Talk about going all in on a first date! Alex being the person he is had no problem and impressed Allie, her mom, and her sister.

After the wedding, Allie and Alex continued to spend more time together. With the encouragement of Alex’s brother Jacob, Alex made it official on September 25, 2018, and asked Allie to be his girlfriend.

Since then, Allie and Alex have traveled across the United States on several trips, attended countless concerts, celebrated major milestones, and bought a home together.

After five and a half years of dating and too many not-so-subtle hints from Allie, friends, and family, Alex was finally ready to propose. He asked Allie to marry him on April 25, 2024, in San Fransisco, California.

Allie and Alex look forward to their next chapter and can’t wait to become husband and wife on March 21, 2025.
