Cami is Allie’s much cooler younger sister and best friend. Although Cami is younger, most people think she’s the big sister as she manages Allie’s life so efficiently. Growing up she packed all of Allie’s lunches for school so that Allie could sleep in. Always the fashionista and personal shopper, Allie would never put on an outfit without running it by “the boss.” This wedding has Cami’s hands all over it and could not happen without her creativity and organizational skills.

Allie first met Desseya at a family dinner as she was dating Allie’s cousin Quinton. They discussed that they were both going to Trinity Western University and both were in need of a roommate. The two of them quickly became besties and the Queens of pranks at TWU. Arigato! Allie is blessed to have Desseya working with her at Pacific Academy, and somehow be allowed to chaperone a group of students on an outreach trip to Mexico.

Emily is Allie’s ultimate roommate. They were in the same dorm in second year, lived in an apartment together in fifth year, and Emily became a part of the Howard family, living with them in 2023. Emily is also Allie’s favourite karaoke partner and you will often find them performing the song “Living on a Prayer” with a full dance number. Emily lights up a dance floor like no other…stay tuned.

Allie and Shaiana became friends in high school through participating in Pacific Academy’s musicals and being in media class together. They both attended TWU and studied education. These two trauma bonded over many an all nighter after procrastinating pretty much every assignment ever. Allie’s favourite memories with Shaiana include hitchhiking their way through their one month extravaganza in Europe a few summers ago.

Marissa is Allie’s token American bridesmaid. She is one of Allie’s favourite travel buddies as Marissa becomes the father and is in charge of driving the rental cars. The two have enjoyed staying in incredibly sketchy hotel rooms together and baking key lime pie for one another. Even though she is rudely moving back to the states, Allie looks forward to many trips to Avenue Bread, Target, and Chick-fil-a with Marissa aka Bistro.

Bronny and Allie were in kindergarten class together, where Bronny was a perfect angel and Allie would get sent to her desk for talking during nap time. Bronny is a friend who will always have your back, she even told Allie’s grade nine boyfriend that she didn’t approve of him to his face. Iconic move. Bronny is an OG loyal friend who has been there from the beginning and will be a lifelong bestie.

Believe it or not, there was a time where Allie was actually taller than Molly. These two had a rivalry in grade 4 gym class and were very competitive with one another, but outside the gym it was all webkinz and making up songs for any and every presentation in school. When they were sixteen they hiked the West Coast Trail with Brennie. Adventures and fun times are synonymous with Molly. Allie looks forward to a lifetime of vegan cuisine, crafts, and cold plunges with Molly.

Meagan and Allie really connected through being in the same dance group and bonding over interpretive dance teachers (boom tick tick), and their moms glueing their eyes together when putting on fake eyelashes. The memories made at the family cabins at Little Shuswap, traveling to Europe, and their yearly matching mens boxers are irreplaceable. If you want to get this girl on the dance floor, just play Justin Bieber’s “One Time” and sit back and enjoy the show.

Aiden is Allie’s older brother and is playing two roles in the wedding as he is a member of both parties; you can call him a bridesman. Allie has always looked up to Aiden’s “seize the day” energy, as he always goes after his goals. Aiden decided to copy Allie and venture along the acting route and now he is killing the game as a teenage heartthrob on the big screen. Jacob and Aiden have bonded over their newfound love for fishing, and they are both thrilled to be gaining a brother.

Caleb started out as Jacob’s RA, but it didn’t take long for him to become his best friend. From late-night PB&Js to jamming out to Lil Peep and FKA Twigs, their bond grew over shared moments and adventures. Not only is Caleb wise, he is a man of God who’s never afraid to speak life into those around him. Caleb is Jacob’s second favourite adventure buddy (after Allie), and Jacob looks forward to all the future moments where Caleb almost kills him by getting him to participate in sketchy activities. Jacob is honoured to have him standing by his side as his Best Man.

Jack and Jacob became close friends at university, where they shared an apartment, and they still live together today. The two often found themselves testing the limits of TWU staff patience with their “simple pranks.” Jack is one of the most generous, sacrificial, and kind-hearted people Jacob knows. Whether they’re talking about sports for hours or cracking jokes, their friendship is irreplaceable. Jacob is thankful for Jack’s constant support and unwavering friendship.

Jacob was once Erin’s arch-nemesis as the very annoying younger brother, but little did they know, their sibling rivalry would lead to an amazing friendship. Although the huge scar on Jacob's arm is a poignant reminder of all of their childhood fights. After Jacob followed Erin to Vancouver, the two quickly became a support system for one another. Erin is an extremely driven, capable, and kind person who Jacob is honoured to have standing by his side on his special day.

As Jacob's middle sister, Marissa was one of the biggest influences on his early development, specifically his sense of humour. Growing up, Marissa was the one sister who would take part in his mischief, like dying Jacob’s hair purple one night when their parents were asleep. Marissa’s loving nature, sharp wit, and thoughtfulness have shaped Jacob in so many ways.

As Jacob’s oldest sister, Michaella has always been a guiding light in his life. Michaella is the one who encouraged Jacob to pick up basketball as she was the original Troy Bolton of the family. Michaella is one of the kindest humans Jacob knows, and her wisdom and generous spirit are unmatched. Being her sibling has been a true joy, and Jacob feels lucky to have her by his side. Plus, she earns some serious brownie points for making him an uncle.

Mitch and Jacob share a unique bond, one built on the mutual experience of riding the bench together on the basketball team. Mitch and Jacob’s sense of humour is nearly identical, and they helped one another create their alter egos: Sven Stevens and Gerald Prank Sinatra. The two also become parents together, raising a beautiful bunny named Ciroc who was tragically asked to leave by resistance leadership. Beyond the jokes, Mitch is a God-honouring, consistent, and genuine person whose presence lights up any room. If you ever need a laugh, Mitch is your guy.

Leif joined the basketball team as a first-year alongside Jacob and they were in the same dorm where they made some of their best memories together. The two also spent two summers together painting houses where they did more shenanigans than actual painting. Jacob has immense admiration for Leif, especially after witnessing his incredible perseverance and tenacity through a devastating knee injury. Watching Leif navigate that challenge was inspirational to Jacob.

Graham has quickly become one of Jacob’s closest friends. What started as casual coffee chats has grown into a deep and meaningful bond over the past year of living together. With Jacob and Graham both working in the development industry, their friendship has since been filled with countless conversations about real estate construction. Graham is the most well connected person Jacob knows, meeting a different friend for coffee every day. Jacob looks forward to many more years of friendship ahead, and who knows, maybe even future business ventures together.
