When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by May 17th, 2025.
Can I bring a plus 1?
We are happy to include plus-ones for guests who have a significant other. If your invitation is addressed to you 'and Guest or Plus 1', you are welcome to bring a plus-one. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out to us!
Are kids welcome?
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration for guests 16 and older. We hope you enjoy a night out with us!
What will the weather be like?
June in Okoboji is usually warm and pleasant! Expect temperatures around 70-85°F during the day and cooler evenings in the 60s. It can be a bit breezy by the lake, so a light jacket might be a good idea for later in the evening.
Where should I park?
There will be designated parking available at Round Lake Winery. However, we encourage guests to take advantage of our scheduled bus pick-up and drop-off service for convenience and safety. More details on pick-up locations and times will be shared closer to the wedding!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception locations are wheelchair accessible. If you need any special accommodations, please let us know in advance so we can ensure a comfortable experience for you.
What should I wear?
Our wedding is a Black Tie event! We encourage formal attire—men can wear a tuxedo or a suit, and women can wear a formal gown or an elegant cocktail dress. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
What kind of shoes should or shouldn't I wear?
Our wedding will take place both outdoors and indoors at Round Lake Winery in Minnesota, including areas on grass and by the lake. The ceremony chairs will be set up on hard ground, and the indoor areas have beautiful smooth floors. However, there may be spots where you'd like to step onto the grass for photos. We recommend wearing comfortable, stable shoes—block heels, wedges, or flats are great options, as heels may sink into the grass. Gentlemen, dress shoes are perfect. We want you to be comfortable while enjoying the celebration!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting) at Round Lake Winery. The reception will take place indoors, where the reception garage doors open up to the beautiful outdoor areas. The band will also be playing outside (weather permitting), and that’s where the dance area will be as well. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for great weather!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We are excited to have a professional photographer capturing the special moments of our day. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow the photographer to work their magic. However, there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos during the reception and with the newlyweds! We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share the memories with you!
Whom should I call with questions?
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the following:
Amy Joseph, the bride’s stepmom, at 319-310-7305 or Jooliana Krummel, the matron of honor, at 770-337-7994.
They’ll be happy to help!
I'm coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
For out-of-town guests, we’ve put together a list of nearby accommodations! Please visit the 'Travel' tab on our Knot wedding website for more information and recommendations on where to stay.
Is there transportation being provided between receptions and hotels?
Yes, we will have a bus/shuttle available to pick up and drop off guests at Bridges Bay Resort in Okoboji, IA. The timeline for pick-up and drop-off will be available closer to the wedding. We look forward to making transportation easy and convenient for you!
Are pets allowed at the wedding?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the wedding. While we would love to accommodate them, we hope you understand as we focus on making the day enjoyable for all our guests!
