We met when we were placed in the same freshman orientation group at Purdue - Boiler Gold Rush! You can see Allie in the front row and Chris in the back (being silly). It was fate! Extra points if you recognized Shawn McMahon in the back right corner... who knew he would become such a close friend and a groomsman?

We quickly became the best of friends at Purdue. We lived in the same dorm (Wiley) and hung out often (and sometimes accidentally twinned)!

After being the best of friends for the first year and a half of college, Chris finally asked Allie to be his girlfriend on April 9th, 2016! The "girlfriend proposal" was The Bachelor themed, since we watched it together often (and still do!)

After meeting during Boiler Gold Rush, we both became involved as orientation leaders.

One of our favorite past-times in college was hanging out at Neon Cactus. This place had it all - dancing with friends, drinking in Cactus Cups, and loudly singing along with Bruce at the Piano Bar!

After a long 5 years at Purdue College of Pharmacy, we got to celebrate the start of clinical rotations with classroom karaoke. We, along with our friends Becky, Jack, and Andrew, sang Fat Bottom Girls by Queen.

We graduated from Purdue College of Pharmacy in May 2020. We both went on to pursue pharmacy residencies. Allie went to the University of Kentucky to specialize in pediatrics, while Chris went to the Indianapolis VA to specialize in pharmacy administration.

Since matching in residencies at different states, we were long-distance for two years. We made a point to keep our relationship strong, visiting the other in our respective city at least monthly and taking vacations away from residency. Here is our first vacation together in Asheville, where we visited the Biltmore, went hiking, and explored the city.

After two long years, Chris graduated from his residency!

And then we both secured jobs in Indianapolis and were able to (finally) move in together to start our lives.

Just after our 7 year anniversary, Chris proposed at Newfields in their beautiful garden. Allie was clearly surprised, and said YES!
