Villa il Pozzo is about 45 minutes from the Florence airport. We suggest either renting a car, calling a taxi, taking the bus or train from the Florence airport to the Certaldo train station. Tip from Matt & Allie: If you plan on renting a car be sure grab your bags and head outside to the rental car pickup area where a shuttle will come every 5 or so minutes to take you to the rental car offices.

If you are kicking off your trip in Rome we suggest either renting a car or taking the high speed train from Rome to Certaldo. The high speed train from Rome is about 3 hours so sit back, relax, and enjoy the views of Tuscany!
