Jeff and Allie meet at Hix Farm Brewery in Cookeville, TN when hanging out with a group of friends! Jeff had just moved into his new house and was invited out to join the biology graduate students. This picture was taken years later when they returned to revisit where they met.

Jeff and Allie unknowingly begin their annual tradition of seeing every Christmas light possible within a 10 mile radius and re-watching all the classic Christmas movies as many times as humanly possible. If you can't quote Elf, you can't hang with us. At this point, they had been officially dating since Nov. 27, 2017.

Jeff takes a trip to Cincinnati and meets Allie's family and friends...at beerfest! It went well, despite the amount of IPAs that were consumed.

Jeff began accompanying Allie on field outings for her graduate research and he caught a Hellbender!! This was monumental - they're impossible to find and live under rocks the size of cars. If you don't know what a Hellbender is, go look that up immediately.

Allie takes the trip to Michigan and meets Jeff's family at his sister Jodi's wedding. It was a ton of fun and she realized Michigan is actually pretty cool.

Allie throws Jeff a surprise 23rd birthday party!! This party was complete with shotgunning beers, drinking games, an enormous amount of hydroponic lettuce, and Jeff getting iced repeatedly. There was probably also a lot of pizza.

Jeff impresses Allie with his fishing when he casts into a tree and they have to boat over to get it out. He realizes that despite her lack of experience, Allie is a phenomenal fisherman. She caught 3 fish her first time fly fishing.

Jeff and Allie dress up as the Magic School Bus and Miss Frizzle for Halloween. This was the first of a yearly tradition of trying to find the best Halloween costumes humanly possible. Fun Fact: Jeff used many cans of spray paint to color that bus...Allie wore this costume to teach kindergarteners about science.

Allie moves to Arkansas to pursue a Ph.D. and they begin a long distance relationship.

Jeff comes to Arkansas and catches lizards. At this point, Allie realizes maybe he should be the one getting the Ph.D. in Biology.

Allie and Jeff dress as prairie lizards (the animal Allie studied during her Ph.D.) for Halloween and won the costume contest at a party with a bunch of herpetologists.

Jeff moves to Tulsa, OK! Now Jeff and Allie only live 2hrs away AND they get to eat the best pizza they've ever had at Andolini's. Seriously...they drove 4 hours round trip one day just to get pizza in Tulsa.

Jeff and Allie celebrate New Years wearing these amazing outfits at Allie's grandma's house.

Allie and Jeff move in together in a cute house in Arkansas! FINALLLYY!! no more long distance.

Allie adopts Goldie, the tiniest, loudest, cuddliest cat who will always look like a kitten while Jeff is away in Michigan. Despite the rumors, he was aware of the decision.

Another award winning costume. Enough said.

Jeff adopts the most adorable yet needy watch dog to ever live. The legend himself - Sully! This was a monumental moment because since the day Allie met Jeff, he told her he was getting a dog and was basically actively looking for the perfect one for years.

Allie and Jeff buy a house!! Allie got a job in central Ohio - off they go as homeowners! They did buy site unseen, which was a wild move.

Jeff plans an amazing road trip through the Cascades in Washington. On the first day of the trip, he gets down on one knee and asks Allie to marry him. She very happily said, "Yes. Absolutely Yes.". Now they're getting married...!
