Allie's point of view:Back during the height of Covid in 2022, Allie decided to give the app Bumble a shot. She was in the middle of a fishing trip in Alaska when she caught not only her fair share of Halibut, but also Marshall's attention. They matched and hit it off. He was not scared off by the million scenic wilderness pictures or countless fish pictures she had sent him during the first week of talking. Instead he was impressed and said it was a reason I stood out to him. Once back home in San Diego they decided to go on their first date, they went to dinner and played mini golf at liberty station.

How did we meet?

Our Story

Marshall proposed on April 14th 2025. The images tell the story of how it happened. I was under the impression we were just going for a photo session to remember our vacation. Little did I know, Mr. Romantic had emailed the photo studio ahead of time and had it all planned out before we even stepped aboard. I definitely was surprised and excited to say yes to this wonderful and caring man.

Marinna and I became best friends in kindergarten.  We have lived in the same state and far apart but our friendship has lasted the test of time.  We got our first tattoos together in memory of our late Mothers who were also great friends. I would not want to go through this special day without her.

Liz and I met sophomore year of high school. We met in Spanish class and went to our first football game the same night. Make sure to ask her about the spirit shirts we made 😆.  She is such a bright and bubbly person it was easy to keep our friendship strong through the years.

April and I met in nursing school.  She was one of the biggest reasons I passed and kept my sanity. She was there when I was crying and thinking I wasn’t going to pass or to vent to about working as a CNA. And I was there for her for the same.
