When Allie first moved to West Hartford, Connecticut for graduate school back in 2017, she was missing Upstate NY. Luckily, she found a little piece of home when she spotted Scott on a dating app and discovered that he not only was a Buffalo Bills fan (Go Bills!), but also attended her Alma Matar, University at Buffalo. Allie and Scott immediately knew they needed to meet and quickly bonded over their shared love of Buffalo wings and dreams for the future! In the following years, Allie and Scott moved into their first apartment together, adopted an adorable (but slightly demonic) French Bulldog, bought a home, and took on life’s many ups and downs together. Allie and Scott supported one another through the challenges, which made the good times even sweeter. They spent their free time together doing their favorite activities: such as, playing overly competitive games of Catan, cuddling up by a fire in the winter, and taking part in traditions such as watching the Manchester Thanksgiving Road Race and taking yearly trips to Cape Cod and Florida with their families. Allie booked a trip to Kennebunk, Maine as a birthday present to Scott in June of 2022. Much to her surprise, Scott turned that trip into a gift for Allie when he decided to turn a casual sunset walk after dinner into a proposal. Allie said yes! And the rest is history.&nbsp;
