On October 14, 2020, Jonathan reached out to Allie through an online ticket exchange, looking for a ticket to the Alabama vs. Georgia game on October 17, 2020. To his luck, Allie had a ticket available! Now of course she wasn't going to just give him the ticket.....she devised a plan to hang out with this handsome man. The ticket was on her Alabama student ID card, so they met up at dinner before the game so he could grab it. Oh, I should mention that Jon was accompanied by two of his friends, so this was technically their first date with a third- and fourth-wheel!

After the game, they talked until 3am and found out they have the same tattoo (Psalm 91), they both have played piano since they were tots, and they both grew up on the lake! How could there be a more perfect match?! As time went on, Allie and Jonathan would visit each other in Enterprise and Tuscaloosa on the weekends and would quickly fall in love. Summer 2021 came and Allie had Army training she had to attend beginning in June, and Jonathan also left for his Army PCS to South Korea in July.

Jon has been in South Korea since July 14, 2021. Little did Allie know, shortly after he left for his PCS, he was planning the surprise proposal of a lifetime. By God's grace, Jonathan was able to come home for Christmas 2021 and proposed on December 23, 2021, only 4 days after buying the ring!

This wedding has been long awaited, and they are so excited to share the day with each of you! Cheers to the Lindens!
