This will be our meet up location for drinks Friday night! This pier is a great place to catch some rays or enjoy the Florida sky at sunrise and sunset.
The local beach to our wedding venue, this high end beach is beautiful and convenient. If you're staying at the Newport Resort, there is a great beach attached to the hotel!
The iconic Miami Beach won't disappoint, offering beautiful blue water, memorable people watching, and incredible night life. Don't miss a trip to South Beach if you haven't experienced this trendy Art Deco neighborhood.
This northernmost piece of Miami Beach proper was once swamp land and now a tranquil beach village.
Haulover Park Naturist (nude) Beach
Don't worry, if the nude beach isn't your thing, most of this park is actually quite family friendly and less commercial than the surrounding areas. If you want a state park beach, this is your best bet.
If you're looking for nightlife and some amazing restaurants, check out the Brickell neighborhood of downtown Miami. Fancy a high end cocktail? Check out Blue Martini, where Dan used to mix bands and DJ in college.
Don't be afraid to try out a hole-in-the-wall Cuban restaurant where no one speaks English! You'll find a casual vibe, local feel, and delicious grub. If you get a Cuban Coffee, the little plastic cups are for sharing, they are quite strong.
The FREE Miami Beach Trolley runs from 6am-midnight Mon-Sat and 8am-midnight on Sundays. You can hop on at 88th Ave. (5 miles south of the wedding hotel) and take it all the way to the end of South Beach if you want! Click here for more info and maps.
Check out Lincoln Road Mall in South Beach if you're into shopping or outdoor restaurants and bars. While you're there, walk over to Ocean Drive where you'll find all kinds of eateries, bakeries, bars, and art deco hotels. We love to grab breakfast along Ocean Drive, many restaurants have affordable specials and you can't beat the people watching.
