The love story began on March 9, 2022 when Patrick and Allison had their first date. They went for a sunset golf course ride on The Classics Golf Course in Lely Resort. Their first date was filled with nerves, laughter and some horrible golf swings. Despite Allison missing the golf ball, they had such a lovely time that they agreed to go to the botanical gardens that next weekend, and after that, it was hard for them to be apart.

Conveniently enough, with Allison staying at her parents house in Lely Resort and Patrick working in Lely Resort, "bumping" into each other became a common occurrence. As Kathy, Allison's mom would say, "whenever we would take Lucy (Allison's dog) for a walk, we somehow would always cross paths with Patrick, who, conveniently at that time would be driving by in our neighborhood."

While living the snowbird life in Florida was magical, a few months later Allison had to go back up to Wisconsin to carry on running the Pewaukee Boys Volleyball program.

Allison and Patrick did long distance and while they visited each other each month, their weekends consisted of facetime dinner dates and Netflix sharing movie nights. As soon as season came to an end, Allison packed up Lucy and headed back to Florida.

We continued making memories in Florida with our friends and family.

Our dogs, Lucy and Brutus met and became best friends.

The Doyle's came down for Thanksgiving

Kathy's sisters came down and we went to the Everglades

Allison watched countless hours of softball tournaments

They played pickleball nearly every evening with Allison's parents

They enjoyed the endless beauty of Florida by visiting new places, trying new food and exploring the area

They took their first trip together out to PA

...and the list goes on...

In April, 2023 Patrick and Allison made the decision to move back to Wisconsin to establish their lives in Packer nation.

It did not take long, as the weather started changing, that they were itching for a trip back to Florida. Allison did not know that this would be the trip of a lifetime. On January 17th, 2024, Patrick asked Allison to marry him on the Classics golf course in Lely Resort, back where it all began.
