Alex's POV:

It was all because of a cutting board. That was the first time I met Allison, granted it was virtually, still a little funny looking back now. Fast forward a little while later and I see the real Allison on a mutual friend's Snapchat story, so I inquire about her. I thought she was drop dead gorgeous, and she had a Star Wars Christmas sweater on. That mutual friend gave me her info and shortly after Allison and I became good friends. It wouldn't come until a couple months later when we would actually meet for the first time. It took a lot of asking and pleading, but she eventually came to her senses and gave me a chance. FYI we don't associate with that mutual friend anymore.

Allison's POV:

I needed a cutting board on Animal Crossing to complete my set, so I asked a friend to ask Alex if he had one and if he did I would give him 100k bells. Within 24 hours, he had the cutting board for me. A few weeks later, that same friend posted a pic of us on Snapchat and Alex replied to her with "your friends hot, can I have her snap" and she gave him my info. (This was May 2020). Alex and I had A LOT in common, so we became great friends very quickly, without meeting. Alex asked me on multiple ice cream dates and I declined. It took a lot of convincing from Alex to FINALLY make me come to my senses and admit I had feelings for him. So on August 4th, 2020 we went on our 1st date.

On August 23rd, 2020 he asked me to be his girlfriend.

On our first date, at the end of the date he walked me to my car and said "On our 200th date, I'll ask you to marry me"

So on November 4th, 2023 at Epcot in Japan under the Torii Gate, Alex said "Today is our 200th date" and got down on one knee.

(FYI Alex got that cutting board for free and I still had to give him 100k bells and he didn't tell me that for quite awhile, but thank god he had that cutting board because he was actually the missing piece I needed)
