Will there be an open bar?

OF COURSE! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you. We have waited a long time for this day, so party accordingly!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones be put away and turned off/silenced during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person blocking the moment for the photographer. There will be photograph moment that the officiant will announce, but other than that, please do not have your phone out. After the ceremony, take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we receive them!

Can I bring a guest/date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they would appear on your invitation or under your name on our website when you RSVP. If you have any questions, please ask us.

Are kids invited?

Due to limited numbers, we hope you understand that children are only invited if named on the invitation or included when you RSVP.

How Do I RSVP?

Please go to the RSVP tab and type in your name. All guests of your family will be listed under your name. You can accept or decline on the site and it will be sent to us. Please RSVP by March 15th.

What happens if I do not RSVP on the website in time?

If you do not RSVP by March 15th, your response will be marked as "Not Attending". We will miss celebrating with you! However, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue & vendors in the timely manner they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

What should we wear?

The ceremony will take place outside with a partial inside/outside reception. You should wear something semi-formal or cocktail, but comfortable to party the night away celebrating with us! Our wedding colors are olive green, sage, and dusty blue if you would want to wear something with those colors.

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, & creams. We would hate for you to have a red wine accident on our big day.

Where do I sit at the ceremony?

As our two family join to become one, we ask you to sit where you feel comfortable. There is not specific sides on such a special day. We love each of you and are so glad you could make it to celebrate us.

What if I am running late to the ceremony?

Our day is coordinated on a strict schedule, this means we cannot push back the start time due to any guests running late. If you happen to be running late, you will not be allowed into the main ceremony area. This avoids distractions for not only other guests, but also the bride and groom. Please give yourself additional time to arrive at the venue early! If you do run late, there is an outside reception space where you can sit to watch the ceremony. It is not ideal, but you will still be able to be present.

What time should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive to the ceremony 30 minutes prior to it starting to ensure you are able to arrive, sit, and be comfortable for when the ceremony starts. The venue will start receiving guests at 5:30pm for our ceremony to start promptly at 6pm.

Can I bring a card to the wedding?

Yes, there will be a special box for anyone who would like to bring a card.

What if I want to buy you a gift instead of a contribution to the cash funds?

While we ask you to stick to our cash funds, we welcome anything that makes you think of us or that you think would be a good gift for us! <3

What type of food will be at the reception?

There will be a variety of different food to please everyone! We will have a range of fried southern comfort food, Mexican classics, and Louisiana must haves. Plus, there is nothing like finishing our favorite event with ice cream and beignets.

What should we do for transportation to the venue?

If you have a car, the venue will have parking for you to drive. If not, Uber and Lift are super reliable. Again, be sure to give you and your driver enough time to arrive. If you choose to drive to the venue, but want to Uber home, the venue will allow cars to be parked overnight.

What should we do for transportation from the venue?

The answer for this question is dependent on what you want to do after the reception and where you have chosen to stay. When you RSVP, you will be asked multiple questions. If you are staying in the hotel near Bourbon, the couple have arranged for a party bus to take guest to the hotel after the reception. To ride this bus, please reach out to Allison. For those staying at the hotel in Mandeville, you would have to drive your car back to the hotel or Uber/Lift. The venue will permit cars to be left there overnight.

What hotel should we be staying at?

We have secured a room block at The Canopy by Hilton Hotel and The Troubadour Hotel near Bourbon Street and the Courtyard by Marriott in Mandeville. You can call them to make a reservation under the discounted rate or use the link to access the online booking. The details are under the Travel tab. The name on the party is "The Armonds". If you have any issues, please let us know!

What will the weather be like?

Although we cannot predict the weather, usually in June it is a little bit warmer in Louisiana. Here is a link to a weather app: https://weather.com/weather/today

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Yes, it is #ArmondAfterAll
