Tony and I met online in January 2021. We both had just relocated to Oklahoma City, alone, for work. We matched on Bumble. If you don't know what that is, it is a dating app where the girls have to start the conversation. Tony is a shy guy at first, so this is no surprise.

We went on our first day date a couple days later, on that Friday. He took me to Top Golf because he knew my love for golf. He assumed that I was going to beat him and be much better. I was clearly nervous around him already because he did in fact beat me. Before we even left the parking lot to go grab dinner, we had our next date planned, which is always a good sign. After grabbing dinner, we watched Criminal Minds at my apartment. I fell asleep AND started snoring. How embarrassing!!

Tony cooked dinner for me the next night. He told me it was Fresh caught Salmon. Ask him where he really got it...

After that weekend, the rest was history. We have been attached at the hip ever since. He will tell you that I moved into his house that next week. I will tell you that me and my suitcase liked to stay at his house a lot.

Most people know that Winter isn't that bad in Oklahoma. Two weeks after we met there was a record winter storm that took over Oklahoma and Texas. That storm started coming in on Friday February 12th. Tony decided this was the perfect day to go pick up his new puppy. That first week with Rhett in the snow was so much fun. Taking him out to go potty every 2 hours, on the other hand, was not.

We sent Rhett off to training for 3 months of summer. Which was equally nice and hard. We missed him a lot, but we were able to do some many things without worrying about a puppy at home. We noticed a lot of progress and were very excited to get the hunting season started to watch him work. This was also my first hunting season. Prior to Tony, hunting was a guy's thing, and the women always went shopping. My favorite part is watching Rhett work and do what he loves, because we all know I am not very good at the hunting part.

Tony Surprised me for my Birthday with a trip to Waco TX to visit Magnolia Farms. This was such a fun trip with our friends Jeff and Shelby Smiley. He knew he had to make up going hunting on my actual birthday. And he certainly out did himself!!

For Thanksgiving we made the 24 hour trek up to Connecticut to see Tony's family. He got to show me around his hometown. He took me to the hang out spots, the Thanksgiving rivalry football game, and of course a Boston Bruins NHL game.

We spent Christmas just the two of us in Oklahoma City. It was quite different than we are both used to because the temperature got to 80 degrees. Definitely not able to cozy up by the fire and watch Christmas movies. I was able to bake Christmas cookies with our new Kitchen Aid though!

Early 2022 consisted of a lot of hockey, hunting and some camping. In April, I got a wild idea to get a second dog. I begged and begged. Tony finally caved and we brought home our second dog Kane. He fit right into his role of crazy second child. But he loves to cuddle, more than Rhett does. He wants to be as close to us as possible, which means sleeping on our pillows with his head on our shoulder.

July 2022 Tony and I made a trip up to my Family cabin in Minocqua, WI. His parents also made the trip. I had a feeling something might happen, but I didn't know details. Everyone knows I am very hard to surprise. Thursday July 21st we had a friendly match against my dad and my brother at St. Germain Golf Course (my favorite course). We unfortunately lost the match. BUT on the 18th hole after the round, Tony got down on one knee and proposed to me. I of course said YES! We spent the rest of the day on the lake celebrating and enjoying a Prime Rib smoked on the smoker by my father.
