The Beginning of Our Story

It’s really the most epic story of all time. A modern day arranged marriage one could say. The groom's mother just so happened to sit in (what she didn't know at the time) her future daughter in law’s dental chair. They both thought each other were pretty cool- both having the same name in all. Little did the hygienist know, her patient’s son that day would become the love of her life and they would be happily married about 2.5 years later.

That one dental appointment changed their lives forever. Allison, the hygienist, was just hoping to make a new connection in Cincinnati. She wasn’t really thinking anything would come from giving a random patient her cell phone number that day. Michael, the patient’s son, was thinking the same thing. A new connection, a new friendship, they really weren't expecting much more than that. Once again, what could really come from a random set up at a dental office! Michael and Allison were about to find out…

After a week of texting, Michael and Allison met at Coffee Emporium in Hyde Park for their first date. The sparks were flying. Allison noticed something different about this date. She had butterflies the WHOLE entire date! They never left! This was a first for her. Michael thought Allison was sweet, beautiful, and funny. The two enjoyed each other’s company for 4 hours that night, continuing their date at MadTree Brewery.

They both walked away from the date pleasantly surprised. Coffee turned into brews, pizza, and a beautiful relationship that would never end. From that day on they continue to fall more and more in love with one another. They have both found the person that God truly designed for them. They know this without a doubt. God answered both Allison and Michael’s prayers that day.

And even now they still give credit to the best ‘wingwoman’ of all time, the groom’s mother, Alison Lausche!!!
