We are beyond thrilled to have you join us in celebrating our special day! Our love story started when Riley lived in Charlotte and drove an hour and ten minutes for our very first date (which turned into three hours long). He left that night calling his dad and saying, “She talks a lot!” But apparently, that chatter sparked something, because even with the distance, Riley kept showing up at just the right times. One of our favorite memories is when little Reeves came home with baby chicks from a class project. I had no idea how to care for them, but I remembered Riley raised chickens. So, Mae, Reeves, and Harper grabbed my phone and FaceTimed him (their first time ever meeting) to get the full chicken scoop. They asked a million questions, and I left to do laundry and chores. When I came back 45 minutes later, they were still talking about chickens! It was the sweetest, most genuine glimpse of Riley’s kindness. I thought they’d hung up and my phone was lost under a couch cushion—but really, it was the beginning of something bigger. What grew from there has been nothing short of a blessing. We are so grateful that God brought us together, and that we share the same values, family-first hearts, and deep love for our parents, siblings, and the friends who are basically family, too. They’ve been part of our story every step of the way, and now we can’t imagine celebrating without them. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! Love,Allison &amp; Riley

Luke is Riley’s younger brother, his ride-or-die, and also the quietest funny guy you’ll ever meet. He’s a pilot, which basically means he’s cooler than all of us — though he’d never say it out loud. Don’t let his calm demeanor fool you: when he does speak up, it’s usually something hilarious, sarcastic, or perfectly timed. Riley couldn’t imagine this day without him by his side (and honestly, we all feel a little safer knowing we’ve got a pilot in the family).

Mae is my oldest and my built-in best friend. She’s sweet, creative, witty, and clever — basically the brains behind most of our adventures. As the oldest of four, she’s been “in training” for this role her whole life, and she’s always along for the journey (whether she signed up for it or not). I couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without my favorite sidekick by my side.

Mackenzie is the youngest of five, but don’t let that fool you — she’s been one of the most stable, loving, and thoughtful people in my life. Since moving to San Antonio, she’s been a constant source of encouragement, laughter, and support for both me and the kids. Always calling, always showing up, she’s been a true breath of fresh air through so many transitions and journeys. Even though we’re 15 years apart, she’s one of my very best friends, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.

Mackenzie Grimes 

Whitney is my sister and truly the sweetest, kindest person I know. She’s amazing at just about everything in life, but her real superpower is bringing calmness into any situation — which, let’s be honest, is a full-time job when you combine her three kids with my four! We make it a priority to get all the cousins together as much as possible, which usually looks like organized chaos with a side of snacks. Whitney is not only my sister but also my partner-in-survival when it comes to raising our little crew, and I’m so thankful to have her by my side on this day (and in the trenches of motherhood).

Tylah is the newest sister in our Grimes tribe! Growing up, we only had one brother (and we tortured him endlessly), so we are beyond thankful that he found you — and that you’re officially stuck with all of us. You’re not only bringing another sweet baby into the family, but you’re also bringing your pure heart, kindness, and the patience it takes to handle our loud, chaotic crew. You never skip a beat when it comes to celebrating family — whether it’s holidays, birthdays, or just a random sporting event — you show up with so much love. I’m so thrilled to have you by my side as our newest sister, and we couldn’t love you more!

Tylah Grimes 

Emily is Riley’s sister and one of the most talented, creative minds I know — but what I adore most about her is her open heart. We first met on the coldest, windiest day of the year at a playground while Riley was away with the Navy. Emily showed up (pregnant, no less!) in shorts, never once complained, and sat bundled in blankets with me while the kids played until we couldn’t take the cold anymore. That moment summed up everything about her: she always shows up with love, warmth, and open arms — no matter the circumstance. I’m so thankful to have her as a sister and a friend, and I can’t wait to celebrate this day with her by my side.

Emily Pittman 

Katie is the middle child of five, my younger sister, and my absolute ride-or-die. She’s hands down the funniest human on earth — the kind of person who can find humor and light in literally anything. Even while making sourdough, raising two little ones, and growing another baby, she never skips a beat. Katie is smart, quirky, and quick on her feet — if you throw it at her, she’ll throw it right back (so brace yourself for the banter). She brings endless laughs, love, and energy everywhere she goes, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her sparkle.
