We love our friends, we love our co-workers, and we love our extended family dearly. However, we have decided to limit the wedding to select family only in order to experience an intimate ceremony. All invitations for the ceremony have been extended verbally.

The ceremony will take place on a medium-sized sailboat through the Portland Schooner Company. Sail time is 3:30-5:30 PM from the Maine State/Casco Bay Line Pier. Ethan, Allison, and the sailboat require a punctual crew - please arrive by 3:00 PM for boarding, parking can be difficult to find in the area. Dinner will follow ceremony at a to be determined location.

This is an outdoor wedding on the water. Dress comfortably and plan for a strong breeze. While this is not formal attire, we ask guests to dress for upscale casual (think polo, khakis, summer dress). Sailboats sway, wear comfortable shoes!

We, the couple, will be staying in an Airbnb 7/4-7/9. We have not arranged for group rates through a hotel as this is a very small guest list, but would love to spend extra time with any invited family during our stay.

Our goal is to be able to have a casual wedding reception/celebration with everyone in Virginia in late fall 2024 (venue and funds, depending). If you know of anyone with a good piece of land that will let us pitch a party tent, coordinate a potluck dinner, and boogie the night away, let us know!
