In the Summer of 2014 two bored 20-somethings were swiping about on Tinder and found a match. Liam & Alli spent a couple of weeks texting about TV shows and movies before they finally decided to meet up. After about a year of Hockey Games, Dinner Dates, Mini Golf, and Movies Alli was able to convince Liam to move with her to Brooklyn

In July of 2019, after five years of dating, Liam "randomly" wanted to have a date by the Brooklyn Bridge. Alli was pretty positive she knew what this "date" was about, but she played along. Before leaving for the date Liam shaved his face (suspicious), questioned Alli's outfit choice, and made sure her hair was done. When the couple arrived at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Liam made sure to get by the water by saying "lets go check out the Jet Skiis....isnt the view beautiful." Liam reached into Alli's bag to get out the water bottle and used that moment to pull out the ring and get down on one knee. A boat pulled in right during the big moment with the crowd cheering as they walked off the ferry. The special moment was captured by Alli's family friend Corinne, who was hiding out with her camera.
