Avery and Allison met on Hinge, the dating app, in the summer of 2022. After less than a week messaging, they made plans to meet at a coffee shop in Centerville (although neither of them drink coffee). The two spent a few hours chatting that day about family, friendships, faith, and our favorite things. Knowing that Allison was leaving for vacation in a week, the two made plans to hang out again in a couple days, and ended up spending time together 4 out of 7 days. Avery, knowing what he wanted, brought up making things official 3 days after meeting each other. Allison, the more skeptical of the two, suggested waiting until she returned from vacation. However, quickly Allison realized she too wanted to lock things down with Avery. After vacation, the two met up for a fireworks show and by the end of the night, Allison brought up their status, they both agreed they wanted to make things official, and started dating on July 3rd, 2022.

From there, Avery and Allison moved quickly on meeting each other's family and friends, knowing how important that was to the both of them. They continually bonded over their love for food, games, and quality time. Avery announced his love 3 weeks in, and although Allison was slower to open up, it was undeniable that they both loved and cared for each other beyond anything they'd experienced before.

By the beginning of 2023, the two began to discuss their desire to spend the rest of their lives, and start their own family together. Soon after, they were ring shopping, booking a wedding venue (2 months prior to getting engaged lol), and dreaming about forever. The two are anxiously awaiting their wedding day and are so thankful to share this special day with the people who mean the most to them!
