Our Wedding

Allison grew up in Spotsylvania, Virginia with a love for Fredericksburg. She studied History at Longwood University in Farmville, VA from 2016 to 2020. Ethan grew up in Stafford, Virginia with a love for Fredericksburg. He studied History at Longwood University in Farmville, VA from 2015 to 2018.&nbsp; Along the falls of the Rappahannock, their paths finally crossed for the first time in 2021 as Docents working at Gari Melchers Home &amp; Studio at Belmont. To their surprise, they had some of the same professors in college, and many shared memories of Fredericksburg and Farmville. They also previously worked as 18th-century Historic Interpreters in Fredericksburg! By May of 2022, they became inseparable, performing tasks together and talking about their favorite paintings in the studio galleries. The lifestyle and aesthetic tastes of the Melchers' inspired their love at their home-away-from-home. Today, they enjoy living in the heart of Fredericksburg. Whether it's walking her dog, Bates, going out for date nights downtown, or participating in events at the many museums of the area...they make each moment count.
