Our love story started in May of 2022 with two right swipes on Bumble. I tried to catch his interest by asking if he wanted to come work on my rusty old pick-up truck and got a resounding absolutely not. We agreed to meet for dinner instead and it was an instant connection. Chris was handsome, sweet and fun and I knew right away I wanted to get to know him better. After ensuring I had his number I deleted the app and never looked back. We have been inseparable ever since. My poor truck finally went to the junk yard this spring before we moved in together and Chris was spared from being showered with years worth of rust.

With years to plan I knew exactly what I wanted for my engagement ring. Chris and I ordered it together and when it came I told him whenever he was ready so was I; whether that be two months or another two years. I knew I had finally found my person. He made it all of three days before he got down on one knee after a lovely late Valentine’s Day dinner at Pittsburgh Blue in Edina and simply said “Grow old with me”. It was the easiest YES of my life!
