Things to Do

We've lived in St. Augustine for about two years now and we love exploring the town! There's always something new to try or do. But we do have a few favorites:

THE PLAYERS Championship: if you're a golfer (or even just enjoy live sporting events), you have to make this part of your weekend! THE PLAYERS Championship is a prestigious annual professional golf tournament held at TPC Sawgrass (approximately 40 mins north of St. Augustine). It's often called the 'fifth major' due to its strong field, high stakes and fan popularity.

St. Augustine Old Town Trolley Tour: if you've ever visited us, it's likely we've taken you on this tour. It's the easiest and best way to see/hear all of what St. Augustine has to offer! You can hop on or hop off at any stop to check out specific areas!

V Pizza: nothing beats pizza like back home, BUT V Pizza is by far our favorite. They have a handful of locations in the area, but the St. Augustine one is probably the best (I guess we're kind of bias). We always get the same thing: Flyin' Hawaiian (spice it up!) on a cauliflower crust.

Mojo's Tacos / Kaliburger (on Anastasia Blvd): if you're looking to eat like a local, you must check this place out! You can decide to grab some tacos from Mojo's, or go around the side of the building to Kaliburger and get a nice, juicy burger!

St. Augustine Distillery & Ice Plant Bar: this is a stop on the trolley tour (see above) and is in the same building, which was built in 1927 as literally an Ice Plant.

Cap's on the Water: this is a great waterfront (on the river), seafood restaurant. Note: they don't take reservations, but you can join their waitlist online.

Asado Life: this is another waterfront restaurant, where they have live, outdoor fire grilling - Argentinian style! If you're one to plan ahead, I recommend making a reservation and pre-ordering the Bronzino or Tomahawk! And definitely get the Focaccia.

Boat Drinks: this is one of our favorite bars. Really great atmosphere and Alex highly recommends their S.S. Presso Martini!

Odd Birds: another one of our favorite restaurants/bars - great latin food! They also have a secret back bar/speakeasy.

Marina Munch Food Truck Park: this waterfront food truck park is always a good go-to when we're looking for something casual and quick. We recommend Arepa Life!

St. Augustine Amphitheater Farmers Market: the St. Augustine amphitheater is ranked as one of the country's most popular amphitheaters! The farmers market is Saturday morning 8:30am - 12:30pm, where you can grab food, coffee, handmade arts and crafts, and enjoy live music!

Cone Heads Ice Cream: really only a favorite because it's the one of the few ice cream shops in town that offer Ali's favorite, Rocky Road! But everything is very tasty - Alex enjoys their affogato!

...and of course the beach!!!
