Most love stories start at the beginning. But ours is better drafted like a murder-mystery: from the back, forward. Without the murder or mystery.Today, we split time between Charlottesville and Philadelphia. Before that, stints in Charlotte, Baltimore, DC, and New York. And Pittsburgh. And Winston-Salem. We've been really lucky to live so unmoored (ha). And even luckier to have been sent such supportive friends and family along the way.But we're luckiest of all to have found each other toward the beginning of that itinerary. It doesn't seem long ago that we noticed each other across cubes at our first jobs out of college. In those days, nobody would've mistaken the courtship for a Jane Austin. But with the benefits of time, maturity and Adam &amp; Dr. Drew podcasts, we're really proud to have built something strong, devoted, enduring and — most importantly — together. There's nothing we've come to love more than each other. But a distant second is sharing that with you.- Allison &amp; Sandy

Our Story

The Basics

We will be providing transportation to and from King Family Vineyard.&nbsp;Since Ubers&nbsp;may be scarce on&nbsp;a Saturday evening in a college town, we do not recommend relying on them to get home. Buses will depart from and&nbsp;return to both the Omni and the Marriott hotels.

The Schedule

Busses depart from the Omni and Marriott Hotels at 5:15pm Saturday evening.

If you're staying at&nbsp;The Graduate, Marriott or Darden Inn, please depart from the Marriott. Look for the busses in front of the hotel on University Ave.&nbsp;If you're staying at the Omni, an airbnb&nbsp;or anywhere else,&nbsp;please depart from the Omni.&nbsp;Look for the CAT bus shelter on Water Street.

















After the reception, busses will return from King Family Vineyard at two departure times: 10:15pm and 11:30pm.&nbsp;

The Location

King Family Vineyard is about a 25 minutes away from Charlottesville's downtown mall area. Just take 64 West to&nbsp;Half Mile Branch Road to get to Roseland Farm where the vineyard is located.

Omni Charlottesville Hotel

The Charlottesville Amtrak station is a quick walk or very quick Uber/Taxi ride to most of the hotel blocks and wedding events. Amtrak is a great option for New Yawkers, Philadelphians, Bawlmer huns, Washingtonians and even Yinzers.

Amtrak

This is the closest (~15 minutes) and easiest airport to travel to, but there are far fewer flights per day than the others. Think propeller planes and howdy y'alls.

Richmond airport is about an hour from Charlottesville, has a bunch of flight options and lends a very pretty drive into town.

Dulles is about two hours from Charlottesville and is not a bad option if you're so kindly coming from far away (seriously, we appreciate it).

Pure Charlottesville concentrate. And luckily, adjacent to most of our hotels.&nbsp;If you want town's&nbsp;the truest, most charming experience, dedicate some of your daylight to&nbsp;the Downtown Mall.&nbsp;

Carb up&nbsp;before you boogie down. These are the best New York bagels around&mdash;inside&nbsp;or outside&nbsp;of New York.

(We wouldn't go quite that far, but it's worth it to know some of you just clenched your fingers so hard your iPhones lost memory.)

Right on the mall. If you like whiskey, go somewhere else.&nbsp;If you love whiskey, door's open. Just don't love it so much you ruin the ceremony.

Walk the lawn. Marvel at the Rotunda. Bask in the statued reflections of its two most famous graduates:&nbsp;Philadelphia&nbsp;Eagles defensive end&nbsp;Chris Long and Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Thomas Jefferson.

Another great place for a drink. An&nbsp;old Coca-Cola plant now serving&nbsp;Alco-hola.
