We came to know each other because I stalked Dave on Facebook. We had a mutual friend who then connected us. After about a week, Dave messaged me on Facebook. He eventually asked me out and we went on out first date at The Chase.

Two years later, Dave woke up one morning and decided he was going to propose. We had made plans to go to Ann Arbor that weekend to celebrate our two year anniversary. He tried to wait, but was to anxious. I had just gotten home from work and went about my normal routine. Dave walked up to me and told me that he loved me. I told I loved him too. He kept repeating that he loved me and kept adding the word really to it. Finally, I asked him why he was acting so weird. Right in our dining room, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was completely shocked and caught off guard. February 23, 2018 will be a day we will always remember.


Interesting fact: The day Dave proposed was the date of his great grandmother’s wedding anniversary!
