The Journey:

Allison and Jared have known each other for quite a long time. They have had a rollercoaster of a relationship over the years. Until Dec. 2022 when they finally decided to settle down and commit to one another; both of their hearts found stability and "home."

Engagement:

Jared proposed on Dec. 15, 2023 in front of 1818 Chophouse, a restaurant that holds a special place in Allison's heart, with their parents present. It was right after Jared's master's program graduation from SIUE. A special day all around.

What Allison loves about Jared:

- His commitment to take care of everything she needs in the day-to-day; filling up her car with gas, tires with air, tumbler with ice and water before work, and everything in between.

-His confidence and ability to solve problems.

-He provides a sense of "calm" when she's flustered or worried.

-His love for his mama.

What Jared loves about Allison:

-Her caring nature.

-She makes him feel like nothing else matters.

-Her "top notch chef abilities"

-Her strong, opinionated personality.

There's a lot more but we can save that for the wedding.
