Our Wedding

Ali and Brandon met in 2013 at the University of Maine at Farmington (go Beavers!). In summer of 2015, they reconnected and began casually dating. Together they went to the Yarmouth Clam Festival, a Canaan Smith concert in Portland, and Brandon even made his first trip to Frye Island. Towards the end of the summer, Ali got a job at Pine Grove School, and Brandon was set to move to Boston to continue his Special Education career. The two parted ways, but kept in touch for a little while. In 2016 while Ali was visiting in Boston, they reconnected once more, and despite their connection, the timing just wasn't right. Flash forward to 2021, right in the middle of the pandemic, Ali decided to reach out to Brandon one last time. For years, he had been the one who got away, and as fate would have it, Brandon felt the same. In February 2021, Ali and Brandon met up in Boston for the first time in 5 years, and the rest is history.

Our Story

Molly and Ali met at Barnyard Buddies as infants and have been best friends for 30 years. From Girl Scouts, to attending colleges in different countries, to living together on the East End in Portland... She's the best pal a girl could have. (Photo circa 1997)

Molly Young

Dale and Brandon met at UMF, when Dale transferred in from Husson. They instantly got along,  played on the UMF baseball team, and got in quite a bit of (all legal) trouble over the years! (picture circa 2011)

Dale Winchenbach

Ali and Abbey's parents attended college together at USM.  Thanks to their parents friendship, Abbey and Ali basically grew up as cousins. Both high school swimmers, they even got to race against each other in a meet at the Greely pool. Don't ask who won...

Abbey Secunde

Alec (aka Fritz) has been friends with Brandon since 2nd grade where they sat across one another in Mrs. Maddux's class. They were on the same Little League team that year and played everything together throughout their time at Greely. (photo circa 2018)

Alexander Stillings

Bianca and Ali met in the summer of 2009 on Frye Island. Ali was an ice cream scooper with Bianca's (now) husband, Drew. They quickly bonded over movies, hobbies, love of Pugs, and just a similar zest for life. They became friends when drinking Mikes Lemonade was trendy. (Photo circa 2014)

Bianca Ross

Spenser and Brandon became friends in 3rd grade and grew up playing basketball together. When Brandon and Ali lived in West Roxbury, Spenser and his wife, Mary Kate, were right down the road. We miss having them close by! (photo circa 2011)

Spenser Adams

Ali met Megan in summer of 2016 when Megan began working at Pine Grove. They have had some very creative Halloween costumes and love their girls nights at the North Point. Hopefully one day they will finally be able to attend a Black Eyed Peas concert... photo circa 2018

Megan Carroll

Dr. Russ and Brandon have been friends since their Greely days. They did not play any of the same sports growing up, but that didn't stop them from getting into trouble! One of the most standup guys around! (photo circa 2018)

Russ Morazzini

Eddie transferred to UMF a year after Dale/Andrew, and instantly joined the crew. Similarly, he also played Baseball at UMF with Brandon, and enjoys causing a ruckus. They enjoy rooting for Michigan football and living just minutes down the road from each other now (photo circa late night, 2010)!

Eddie Flaherty

Connie is Ali's cousin, friend, sister, and wifey. When they were kids, Connie actually proposed to Ali at a Chinese restaurant. The ring was handmade, out of a rock, hot glue, and gold wire. Ali still has the ring in her wallet. Connie gives the best hugs, and is wise beyond her years. (Photo circa the 90’s)

Andrew also transferred from Husson at the same time as Dale, and the 3 were often running around together - the UMF baseball team, intramural sports, and copious shenanigans. (photo circa 2012)

Andrew James

Eliza is Ali's cousin, favorite dancing partner, and little Ewok. The baby of the family, Eliza put up with quite a lot. Summers were spent on Frye Island, playing mashed potato farm and wearing matching clothes whenever possible. Flash forward to adulthood, and they still enjoy reliving their teen years at Jonas Brothers concerts.

Catherine (Katie) is Brandon's sister, and graduated high school with Ali. From day 1, Katie welcomed Ali into their lives. Ali feels lucky to have Katie as a sister, and honestly people should feel bad for Brandon because now there are two of them to drive him crazy.

Bus Pickup Locations:   2:30 P.M. Hannaford on 302 in Windham  2:45 Microtel in Windham  3:30/3:45 Frye Island Community Center   Guests are encouraged to take the bus, as there is limited parking at the ceremony location.   As a reminder, if you are planning to take your own vehicle to the island, the cost is $35 (round trip, cash only).

Travel Tips

Located in Windham, Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Windham is in a rural location, just a 5-minute walk from Seacoast Adventure and a 2-minute drive from Sebago Lake. The preferred airport for Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Windham is Portland Intl. Jetport Airport (PWM). Enjoy recreational amenities such as an indoor pool and a fitness center. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM and on weekends from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Windham

VRBO has great cabin rentals! Note: Most rentals are Sunday- Sunday or a 7 night minimum. We’d love for our friends and family to join us on the island for the week/weekend, but understand that the hotel is a great option!
