Steele Hill Resort's South Lawn - Outside in front of the most amazing view! We will be getting married on the side a mountain, so please be mindful of shoe choices.
See the site map here - https://steelehillresorts.com/docs/campus_map.pdf
Will dinner be plated or buffet?
We will be having a buffet style dinner with grilled chicken in a mushroom wine sauce and a carving station with beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, green beans with bacon, caesar salad, mediterranean orzo salad, and rolls. Vendors will be getting a chef chosen meal and we can accommodate food allergies if we know about them in advance!
What about the bar?
Drinks on us, shots and hangovers on you! Enjoy!
Bringing your own alcohol to cocktail hour and/or the reception is not allowed by the resort for liability purposes.
What are your wedding colors?
We will be using traditional fall colors in on our decor. Bridesmaids will be wearing rosewood (maroon) and terracotta (burnt orange) and my maid of honor will be wearing champagne. Our decor and flowers will incorporate similar colors and a lot of greenery!
Will there be a photo booth?
Yes! In addition to our photographers and videographer, we will have a photo booth for all those silly group selfies.
Where do you recommend staying for the night?
We have a room block at Steele Hill with various room options. If you plan to drink, we would highly recommend staying on property. Split the cost between friends and stay in housing with more space! Feel free to look at hotels in the area as well if you would like. I have linked two other hotels in the area in the Travel section.
UNBOOKED rooms will be released back to the public on July 6th. Please book for our room prior to this date.
Who should I go to on wedding day if I have questions?
Please see:
Meryl Pye, Veronica Nicastro or Bonnie Contigiani - Venue Coordinators
Shannon Howe - Mother of the Bride
Eileen Patsfield - Mother of the Groom
Taryn Wentzell - Maid of Honor
Will there be children in attendance?
Yes! We are inviting a number of children. This will be a fun event for all ages!
