The Historic Stockyards are located about 30-40 minutes from our wedding headquarters. It is a great place to grab some good Texas BBQ, see real longhorns, or do some shopping while your in town. If you stay an extra evening, head over to Billy Bob's to two step the night away. Sometimes on Thursday nights they host line dancing classes if you happen to be in town early.

For animal lovers, take some time to visit the Fort Worth Zoo. Allison is partial as they have live horned frogs at the zoo. With multiple areas to witness different types of wildlife, if you need some time to kill it's worth the trip. Just please shower before coming to the wedding!

If you are making a trip out of the weekend and are fans of Chip and Joanna Gaines, head 1.5 hours south to Magnolia Market. They have a shop, food trucks, and their famous bakery you see on HGTV's Fixer Upper. A quick trip down I-35, it's a great option to do on Friday or Sunday during the day while you're in town.
