Our story began in the summer of 2021 the same way most people meet these days, the dating apps. After coming across each other multiple times, we decided to plan a date during covid surge, so that meant a socially distant coffee and outdoor walk. What probably should have only been a walk that lasted an hour or two turned into a five hour date in the sweaty August sun. We talked about everything from family, pets, interests, to the shrek movie that got stuck in the vcr of Kevins family van. From that day everything just clicked.


Since then there have been many highs and lows in both of our lives, but the only thing that stayed consistent was us.


We both value family and that is what made the proposal even more special. During the family vacation to Long Beach Island, Kevin proposed (not without a fight) in front of all our family. Of course everything was made more difficult when Allison refused to join him on a dock overlooking the water because it was not allowed and knowing the possibility that someone might fall in.


We are both excited to share this special day with you all and see what life has in store for this next chapter and hope that you all can join us!
