Our Wedding

Jace and Allison met in high school sometime in 2010, but that's not exactly where the story begins. Jace and Allison didn't actually speak to each other much - they had some classes together and really only knew each other because Jace was close friends with Allison's younger sister, Jessica. Skip ahead to spring 2013, it's second semester of Allison's sophomore year at Michigan State and she's in the lecture hall of a university-required science course: Visions of the Universe aka Astronomy. The lecture begins and then Jace walks in. Late of course. Allison checked out his Facebook page, realized that it's her sister's friend and a familiar face, and messaged Jace asking if he would like to sit together in lecture. If you ask Jace, he'll tell you (proudly) that she "slid into his DMs". Throughout the semester they sat together in every class. Jace asked Allison to do the class's extra credit project together - the project being looking at the moon and stars to track the phases of the moon over the semester. How perfect, right? While Jace thought he was being real stealthy, Allison knew there was more to this question than just extra credit. After a whole semester of asking, the project just didn't happen. But the friendship continued to flourish. Ultimately, the friendship led to romantic feelings. Jace asked Allison to the fraternity formal and the journey began. The relationship held strong through the rest of undergrad, Allison's master's program, family vacations, then moving together across the country to Seattle and raising a puppy (Cleo). They both knew that this was forever. Even with a global pandemic, the love never faltered. This just goes to show that their love can conquer anything, whatever life throws their way.
