If you're looking for that typical boy meets girl, they fall in love, and the rest is history.. well that's not exactly what happened here. When Allison and Nick first met, they were in Windsor, Canada to attend the FIJI formal. The night before the event, they both ended up at The Treehouse Bar. There aren't many details to say about that night except for the end... when Nick got both of them kicked out of the bar for doing snow angels on the ground. Nick then led the few kicked out back to the hotel and stole Allison's pillow pet. A night that would never be forgotten, but also never fully remembered. Fast forward to the next time they met a few years later with a little help from Bumble. Allison remembered meeting Nick and seeing him at a few college frat events that she attended. Their first date was Nick cooking dinner at his apartment the day after Allison's birthday before she had to go to work. Allison realized that night that he did not remember meeting her in college, since they did not go to the same school. After the date when she was at work, she filled him in that they had met years prior. After the first date, Allison and Nick started playing soccer together. Until Allison broke her foot, and then a few months late Nick broke his collarbone at the same facility. Many months later they were able to play soccer again. Many more months went by, and they were finally officially dating. Time had passed and Nick brought up looking for a new job, and it would possibly be out of state. He wanted to go somewhere warmer, and Allison did not mind the thought of that. Little did she know she would end up in Wisconsin. Once they decided they would be in Wisconsin for a little while, they started looking at houses. The housing market was not pleasant at the time, and was much more expensive than Ohio's. On a Monday in March, Nick got pulled over while talking to the real estate agent on his way home from work. Allison got a wakeup call from the real estate agent next, and by the time Nick came running in the house they had to sign the counter offer quickly or it was getting taken away and given to everyone. They got the paperwork in just in time! They were both very excited, but they also had to go grocery shopping. Allison went to put the dogs away, and walked into the bedroom to go change, when she saw Nick down on one knee holding the box (it was not the typical ring box because the jewelry store was out). He asked her to marry him, and she said yes... after asking if he was serious... the ring was not visible at the time he asked just the closed box. 2 hours later they finally made it grocery shopping and the rest was history.
